Plied Knowledge: The week that was…
At the store:
- Knit 12 Together was Monday! This month's project is the Fleet Mitts by former Twistedista Liz Pedersen and we are recommending Twine. Sock yarn by another former Twistedista, Rachel. It's not too late to join in the fun and be sure to take your creations on social media with #k12tog! And if you were lucky enough to join us Monday and are looking for the recipe for the night's yummy treat of Pancake Bread, look no further...
- Looking to try another fiber art beyond knitting and crocheting? We just received a full set of looms from Beka in various sizes!
- The Lovely Tina dropped of 3 big bags of Blue Moon this week! We now have a full array of La Luna DK, triple the amount of Socks That Rock Heavyweight and some new and fabulous Soft Rock Gradient kits. That's not even counting the 2 new colors of Socks That Rock Lightweight - so good!
- 3 boxes of Malabrigo arrived late in the week and we are busy getting it all on the wall! It's a fresh batch of Rios, Mecha, Rasta, Mechita, and the Time For Hats book along with a few of this and few of that...
- We have Gleeners back in stock! These are our favorite for keeping all handmade items looking their best...
- And don't forget to keep an eye on our classes - we update them regularly!
Around the web:
- If you are a sewer at heart and live in the Pacific Northwest, we stumbled across some amazing tips for sewing waterproof fabric....
- If you find yourself not only needing a laugh but to admire the deft photoshop skills of a master, we have the link for you!
- Spring cleaning is still a thing and if you have neglected your refrigerator so far, we give this diy deodorizer...
And totally, completely, unapologetically local:
- JamPDX is a local pottery company run by two ladies who we absolutely ADORE! We carry a sampling of their more fiber-specific wonderful products and their website has much, more more...
Have a great weekend and remember, you can always find us online!
