Spinning Classes Coming Up

Spinning for Beginners

In this introduction to fiber alchemy, you will discover the magic of making your own yarn. We will mostly use spindles, starting with simple ones we’ll make ourselves from readily available materials, and then exploring more refined commercially available options. During the last session, students will have a chance to try out a spinning wheel. Kids 8 and older are welcome to sign up with an adult. This class is primarily for those with no prior experience or specialized tools, but wheel spinners who want to get acquainted with spindles are also welcome.
