K12tog December Project - Itty Bitty Ornaments

For this month's featured project, we've chosen the ever adorable (and FREE!) Itty Bitty Ornaments. At a micro mini size, it's the perfect use for leftover yarn - or you can grab a kit for a fully coordinated set.

Pattern

Itty Bitty Ornaments - free PDF download! The pattern includes 6 ornaments: a tiny sweater, scarf, stocking, hat, pair of socks, and pair of mittens. Each ornament uses about 6 yards.

Yarn

This is a great pattern to use up scraps of fingering/sock weight yarn. You only need about 6 yards per ornament - but that depends on gauge.

Or, a Hedgehog Fibres Sock Mini Skein ($11) will give you 87 yards, which should be enough for 2 of each of the 6 types of ornaments. Your mileage may vary with gauge, though.
