Dyed by hand in Cork, Ireland, Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn Minis are 87 yards of a delightful fingering weight blend of 90% merino and 10% nylon. Photos show multiple skeins to give a sense of colorway variation. If you order a quantity of 1 you'll receive 1 kit, which includes 1 mini skein.

* Due to their small size, we are unable to offer winding on mini skeins.

Gauge is very approximately 32 sts = 4”/10 cm.

Skill level is Intermediate (i-cord, long-tail cast-on, short rows, Judy’s Magic Cast On, sheer tininess).

This kit contains materials to make roughly about 10-12 extremely wee ornaments. It should be enough to make 2 of each type of ornament, but if you're more comfortable knitting at a slightly larger gauge you might use up more yarn per item.
