K12tog April Project - Nettle Mitts

K12tog April Project - Nettle Mitts

Can you believe we’re already a 1/4 of the way through 2017? It’s Spring, the trees and bulbs are blooming, and we have a new project for April’s K12tog Knit-A-Long. The gorgeous Nettle Mitts, by Elizabeth Pedersen (psst – that’s Twistedista Liz!) feature an addictive leaf lace pattern and are perfect for our unpredictable Spring weather. And they’re a knock out in our recommended yarn, Hazel Knits Entice, a fingering weight, cashmere blend that combines  squooshy luxury with a durable touch of nylon. Join us for the Cast On Party, and we’ll help you pick yarn, color, and get started on your mitts.
Materials: 145 – 175 yards (133 – 160 m) fingering weight yarn. Twisted is recommending Hazel Knits Entice. You’ll also need a set of US 1.5 / 2.5 mm double pointed needles, or the size needed for a gauge of 7.5sts/1″.
