Weekend Fun and Games at Twisted
We had such a great time at both of this past weekend’s events. The Lantern Moon Trunk Show was loads of fun – thanks to everyone who came out, and especially thanks to Sharon, Joel, and Bruce, who hung out, provided some wine and snacks, answered questions, and told their story so eloquently. Lame us, we forgot to take ANY photos from that event, but rest assured, if you weren’t able to make it, that you missed a great time.
On to Sunday – the CRAFT 07 Launch Party was a blast! We had a great turn-out, and there are many beautiful button bracelets being worn around town today, we are sure.
Susan and Kate worked their fool butts off, helping folks bend wire, arrange buttons, and attach clasps.
There were prizes galore. Every 20 minutes, at least two envy-inducing raffle prizes were given away.
Kathleen Conahan was here, showing folks how to create their very own safety pin art. She’s an amazingly talented young woman, and we were so stoked when Diane told us she was local (of course, we do live in the Crafty Capital of the World, so shouldn’t have been too surprised).
We even had some surprise visitors: Jennifer Worick, crafty authoress extraordinaire, and Michaela Murphy from CraftStylish came down separately from Seattle. One won a prize, one made a fabulously fresh button bracelet, and both seemed to have a great time.
All in all, a great weekend. Now, back to normal, Twisted life, at least for a few days!
