Weather in the Pacific Northwest demands a wardrobe made of layers. No wonder we have so many knitters! Shawls are perfect for wrapping up in when the sun inevitably ducks behind the clouds, but can be tucked away when the showers end. They are also the perfect way to add a pop of bright color to our traditional grey and black wardrobes. These April classes are guaranteed to up your shawl game!
Blocking: It’s Magic! Monday, April 10 from 6:00-8:00pm
Whether your project is filled with lace, or simple garter stitch, blocking makes all the difference. Learn the best way to handle your knits, and bring out their full beauty. Twisted also carries everything you’ll need to start your own blocking kit – wires, mats, pins, and more!
Advanced Tink, Drop, Frog: Lace Edition

Nothing is worse than finding a mistake in your knitting, especially if you’ve been focused on a complicated pattern. This class arms knitters with the tools to recognize and fix mistakes in their lace knitting, and bolsters the student’s ability to knit fearlessly!
Reading Charts: Saturday, April 22 from 2:00-4:00pm
Charts are the road maps of knitting. Once you know more about the symbols and methods used in their creation, you’ll be able to decipher them with ease. You might even find yourself designing your own!
Favorite Shawl Shapes Saturday, April 29 from 2:00-5:00pm
Discover the techniques behind the many different styles of shawls, and find the shape that satisfies you most! If you’re ready to create your own unique shawl designs, or would like a deeper understanding of your favorite patterns, this workshop is just what you’ve been looking for.
