‘Tis the season

for light-hearted reads, light-fibered knitting, the beach, and sometimes air conditioning. Many among us thought that Spring- and Summer-time weather would never arrive, and there’s no guarantee it’s here for the long-haul, but haven’t the last few days been divine? With the return of the sun and warmth, our Twisted little brains turn away, just a bit, from chunky wools and toward cotton, linen, hemp, soy.

From the top left: Zitron Savanna (60% cotton, 20% linen, and 20% Rayon), O-Wool Balance (50% organic wool, 50% organic cotton), Austermann Algarve Grande (100% cotton). Sublime Kapok DK (85% Cotton, 15% Kapok), Debbie Bliss Eco (100% organically grown and dyed cotton). Noro Chirimen (60% Cotton, 24% Silk, 16% Wool).

These are just a few of the wonderful light-weight yarns we carry at Twisted. We also have Louet’s Euroflax (100% linen) and MerLin (a linen-merino wool blend), and Kollage’s Luscious (100% cotton) sock yarn. And, of course, oodles of wool, alpaca, and silk.
