Time for Toe Ups!
It’s no secret I love toe-up socks. I usually have several pairs on the needles – sometimes I even finish one! This addictive method creates well fitting socks for any feet, especially when paired with an adjustable gusset and short-row heel. It’s also the perfect canvas for all kinds of stitches and color work techniques. We have two wonderful classes coming up, with master sock knitters and local designers Emily Devlin and Sivia Harding.
Lace Toe Up Socks with A Gusset Heel – Thursday, August 11, 18 & 25 from 6:00-8:00pm. Looking to add a bit of spice to your basic socks? These socks feature a lovely lace pattern to get you started, and you will learn more about choosing your own stitches. You’ll be inspired to create your own unique socks!
Toe Up Socks with a Gusset Heel on 2 Circular Needles – Tuesday, September 6, 13 & 20 from 6:00-8:00pm. My favorite method! Sivia will guide you through her formula for making socks for any feet, at any gauge.
