Round ’em up!!

Class Round-up for September 14- 21

Learn to Crochet: Learn basic crochet techniques and leave with adorable crocheted flowers (great as barrettes or brooches.) No prior knowledge needed- total newbies welcome. The class is on September 16, 5-8 pm, with Elaine Marcus. The cost is $30, and students should bring a size H Susan Bates Quicksilver crochet hook plus a $5 materials fee. Class includes yarn and hand-out, and you will learn to make a chain, single crochet, and double crochet.

Anne Berk Studio:
Similar to our usual Sunday studio, only with TKGA certified Master Knitter and experienced teacher Anne Berk! Bring whatever knitting problems you’re having (seriously, anything) and Anne’ll fix ya right up and set you off on the right path. (And pssst- if you’ve got questions about Argyle, she’s the one to ask!) Class is on September 18, from 1-3pm, and cost $20.

Casting On Workshop: Stuck in a backwards-loop rut? Let Parna take you on a magical journey through the land of cast ons! Learn several methods and the pros and cons of each technique- when to use ’em, where, and why! This class is also on Saturday, September 18th, from 3:30- 5:30 pm, and costs $20. Bring some worsted weight scrap yarn to play with, and needles to match.

Beaded Stitch Markers:
Karie Galvin of Silverpurl will show you how to whip up a batch of nifty little wire-and-bead stitch markers, great for gift giving (or, of course, using yourself!) Class is September 19, 11-1pm, and costs $20. Please obtain a Silverpurl stitch marker kit before class (we’ll have ’em in stock).
