November Winner and December/January Contest

EDIT: Contest deadline is extended until the end of January! December was just too hectic

The winner of November’s contest (“A haiku about your favorite fiber-bearing animal (or plant!)”) is Sharon R. with this super cute haiku:

Fresh, newborn lamb bleats
Wobbly knees and flapping tail
Future is all wool

Awww, baby sheepies!
Sharon will go home with a copy of Cat Bordhi’s new book, “Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters”.

And now we’re kicking off December’s contest! We’re back to the photo format for “Self Portrait With Yarn (or Knits).” With the advent of Ravelry, you’ve probably already got a great entry for this contest hanging around- just upload it to our flickr gallery for a chance to win this little bag o’ goodies:

decprize

That’s one skein of Indie Dyer Superwash Fingering Merino in a mysterious (and beautiful) color, one Lantern Moon crocheted cake key chain, and a Soak sampler in Aquae, all tucked into a cute little baggy.

Deadline is the end of December – good luck!
