We’re obsessed with fiber at Twisted. Yarn, of course, roving too, and all the marvelous things you can do with wool, cotton, linen, oh my! While large knitting and crochet projects might take a break during the warm months, Summer is the perfect time to discover new ways to play with your favorite fibers. Learning to weave is high on my list of craft priorities this season. If you’re a Pinterest junkie like me, you may have seen all those fun, bright, modern textiles that are taking over the DIY scene. I can’t wait to make some of my own!

Intro to Drop Spindle Spinning: Thursday, July 21 & 28, from 6:00-7:30pm.

Drop spindles are little works of minimalist art in their own right, and so is your first hand-spun. This is an economical, portable, and incredibly fun introduction to making your own yarn!
