PROJECT: Tincture Hat by Andrea Mowry
RECOMMENDED YARN: Brooklyn Tweed Arbor or a Tincture Hat Kit
If you've never done mosaic knitting, now is the time to tackle it!
You'll need two colors of dk weight yarn: MC - 100 yd/35 g; CC - 90 yd/30 g. We love Brooklyn Tweed Arbor. [Shown in Main Color - 1 skein Thaw (light grey) Contrast Color - 1 skein Tincture (yellow).]
You'll also need two sets of circular needles and a set of DPNs: US 5/3.75 mm - 16”/40 cm circulars for Brim, US 7/4.5 mm - 16”/40 cm circulars for Main Fabric, and US 7/4.5 mm - DPNs for Crown Shaping. Or the size YOU need to obtain correct gauge! And don't forget stitch markers (1) and a tapestry needle.
