Stratosphere Cowl pattern by Kat Archer

The diagonal lines of this tubular cowl bring to mind Portland’s driving rain. Rise above the clouds with this simple to knit and easy to wear cowl offered in two lengths and two weights of yarn.

Yarn

Suggested: One skein of Wildstar Fibers Supernova Sock (pictured in Moon in Gemini).

Our recommended yarn is a downright sinfully soft 85% Superwash Merino / 15% Nylon blend from Wildstar Fibers. The beautiful and punchy colors are just the pick me up to get you through these unprecedented rainy weekends!

Other options: You'll need approximately 330/800 yards of a lace weight yarn OR 386/965 yards of fingering weight yarn for single loop/double loop.

Knit 12 Together with us!

Every month of the year (that's the 12...), we feature an accessible, fun, smaller project to knit, suggesting both a pattern and a yarn to make it with.

Our suggested projects are just that - suggestions - you're the boss! Substitute yarns or patterns, tackle only projects that speak to you, take a busy month off, or challenge yourself to complete all 12 of this year's projects with us. No matter what, we’re delighted to have you aboard.

See past months' projects.
