A simple lace shawl is the ideal “little something” for summer evenings when there’s a light breeze or just that hint of coolness in the air. This simple lace pattern can be knit as a scarf, stole, or shawl. It’s perfect in linen, cotton, or bamboo.

Yarn

Approximately 280 (560, 840) yards/260 (520, 780) meters DK weight yarn. (Or any yarn or yarn combination that gets you gauge.)

Needles

US #6/4.0 mm (or size you need to get gauge) 16"/40 cm circular

Plus a darning needle and stitch markers
