Bikeasaurus

As we all well know, Portland is a heck of a crafty town. And it comes out in all sorts of ways. One of them is the vibrant knitting community here, which we like to think we do our part to enable… And the monster DIY movement in town that prompts things like Crafty Wonderland.

Now, a friend of mine has opened a store that blends Portland’s crafty streak with it’s passion for biking. What a good idea! It’s called Bikeasaurus and it lives at 1137 SE MLK. It’s full of handmade, local bike related crafts and accessories. With the holidays fast approaching, well… score!

TODAY, Saturday 9/18 is Bikeasaurus’s grand opening event. It’s a street party under the Hawthorne Bridge from 2-6pm. There’ll be all kinds of bike fun, food, art and it’s FREE!
