Awareness & Action

There is an incredibly important movement happening right this very minute in our country. We at Twisted stand in solidarity with Black people and the protestors who have issued the call for justice. We see you, we hear you, we mourn with you, and we pledge to join you in the fight against racism and police brutality.

Allocation of financial resources is a key part of systemic racism. As such, we are committed to channeling some of our resources to support protestors, community organizers, and other groups engaged in anti-racist work. We encourage you to learn more and, if you're able, donate.⁠ ⁠This list is far from exhaustive; there are many other groups doing vital work that are in need of your support.

As a retail business, one way we can specifically contribute in a more long-term way is by actively supporting businesses owned by members of communities subjected to institutionalized racism. Accordingly, Twisted is devoting $20,000 to adding more products from makers who are Black, indigenous, and members of other communities of color. We know that this is overdue and not sufficient; our work is just beginning. We will continue to listen, learn, and find sustained ways to contribute to the movement for social justice.
