Versatility is at the heart of this cowl. It’s reversible, unisex, and looks just as great in a shiny silk blend as it does in a rustic tweed. The slipped stitches give a pleasing squishiness to the fabric, while the seed stitch squares offer great textured detail. Worked in the round with worsted weight yarn, the repetitive pattern makes for a quick and easy knit. Just follow the path and enjoy - they don’t get better than this!
Circumference: 21"/53 cm
Height: 8"/20 cm
Measured after blocking
This cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up. For a larger circumference cowl, increase the number of cast-on stitches by 12 for each additional pattern repeat. You will need roughly 20 extra yards of yarn per additional repeat.
16 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this pattern but it will affect finished measurements and yarn usage.
