Scarf [Stole, Shawl] in worsted or DK-weight yarn

Length: 60”/152 cm for all sizes

Width in worsted: 10 [16, 22]”/25 [40, 56] cm
Width in DK: 7 [12, 17]”/18 [30, 43] cm

Measured after blocking. Garment will stretch longer and thinner as you wear it, so start out by blocking it to near its maximum possible width.

This shawl is knit flat. To adjust width, cast on a multiple of 10 stitches + 9 stitches. To adjust length, knit to desired length where indicated.

For worsted: 19 sts = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch
For DK: 22 sts = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch
Measured after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this pattern but it will affect finished measurements and yarn usage.
