16" circular and double points in main size (noted below) and 16" circular in one size smaller (for brim):
Sport - US #4/3.5mm (or size to get gauge)
DK - US #5/3.75mm (or size to get gauge)
Worsted - US #6/4mm (or size to get gauge)
Aran - US #7/5mm (or size to get gauge)
Advanced beginner (working in the round, cabling, maintaining ribbing)
After blocking, in stockinette stitch on larger needles and in k2, p2 ribbing unstretched on smaller needles:
Sport - 28 stitches = 4” in st st. Approximately 42 sts = 4” in k2, p2.
