My Grandmother was born Donna Frances Hightower in 1918. She was a woman of many talents, much wisdom, and lots of love. These socks are named for her. The pattern reminds me of the many long walks we would take, up and around the small hill by her house, on a quiet country road surrounded by tall pines and farmland.

Skill Level
Intermediate (grafting, knitting in the round, lace)
