When a dear friend bats her eyes and says, "I wish I had a pair of hand knit socks", for some of us it can be hard to say no. The designer, Sorren, knit these for the first time for a good friend who is also a knitter but "doesn't do socks". She wanted to make her something that was simple, handsome, and very comfortable.
With a turned cuff that snuggles up to your ankle, but stays oh so stretchy, and ribbed detailing, these socks easily fit a wide range of sizes, and are attractive on any gender and foot size. The patterning is interesting enough for a semi-solid, but also soothing enough to show off a variegated. The perfect sock pattern!
Make them for yourself, a loved one, or a good friend. Everyone deserves a beautiful pair of handknit socks.
