YARN
For size small (large) 190 (220) yards/175 (205) meters fingering weight yarn, split as follows:
• 160 (190) yards/145 (175) meters main color, and
• 5 yards/5 meters in each of 6 contrast colors
NEEDLES
US #3/3.25mm (or size you need to get gauge):
• 16”/40 cm circular, and
• double points (for top of hat), and
• 16”/40 cm circular in one size larger (for stranded colorwork)
GAUGE
After blocking, 26 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch
WORSTED WEIGHT VERSION
YARN
For size small (large) 126 (146) yards/116 (136) meters worsted weight yarn, split as follows:
• 90 (110) yards/80 (100) meters main color, and
