These micro-mini garments can be knit with just 5 or 6 yards of fingering weight yarn each. They're the perfect way to practice skills and spread whimsy all at the same time.

Yarn

Dyed by hand in Cork, Ireland, Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn Minis are 87 yards of a delightful fingering weight blend of 90% merino and 10% nylon. Photos show multiple skeins to give a sense of colorway variation. If you order a quantity of 1 you'll receive 1 kit, which includes 1 mini skein.

Pattern

The Itty Bitty Ornaments pattern is also available separately to download for free. Gauge is very approximately 32 sts = 4”/10 cm. Skill level is Intermediate (i-cord, long-tail cast-on, short rows, Judy’s Magic Cast On, sheer tininess).

This kit contains materials to make roughly about 10-12 extremely wee ornaments. It should be enough to make 2 of each type of ornament, but if you're more comfortable knitting at a slightly larger gauge you might use up more yarn per item.
