Try something new and get a stunning pair of sock to boot! These 75/25 superwash merino/nylon sock blanks are machine knit rectangles hand-dyed to produce ultra-long color changes.
Scarlet Tang, dyer of Huckleberry Knits says, "Our colorways are developed to spark your creativity, with semi-solids full of subtle tonal changes, and variegated combinations that make rainbows jealous."
You can knit directly from a sock blank by unraveling it as you go. It's a fun way to try something different, and your socks (or any other garment) will be stunning!
Images show four sock blank rolls to demonstrate the variation in the hand-dyed gradients. Purchasing a quantity of "1" means you will receive one sock blank roll.
Sock blanks are usually knit from directly, but some people prefer to unravel, skein, and wind into a cake or ball before working with them. To add yarn winding to your order, click here.
Sadly, Huckleberry Knits has turned off their dye pots for the last time. We won't be able to restock this brand, so be sure to buy enough to complete your entire project.
This yarn is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Each one is an unique work of art full of subtle variation and beauty, so your skein will differ from the one pictured. To achieve the most even possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.
Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. We will do our best to select skeins from the same dye lot or, if there is no dye lot, skeins that visually match. If you add multiple skeins of the same yarn to your cart you'll be prompted at checkout to select how to proceed if we have concerns about skeins matching.
While colors shown are accurate to the best of our ability, computer monitors and dye lots both vary so the skeins you receive may differ from what is shown.
