To say that Plush is soft and lofty is an understatement - it's positively dreamy! This base is exclusive to Freia and is and the only yarn we know of on the market today with this amazing blend in this gauge. After all, what could be better than deeply-saturated gradient colors on a Super Bulky base made of a luscious Merino / Silk blend?

Plush is a two-ply super bulky - a yummy blend of 85% US Merino and 15% Mulberry Silk. The twist in the yarn adds air, spring, and bounce while it helps to reduce pilling. The fiber is a proprietary blend of Freia's US grown, mulesing-free merino with added sheen and silkiness from mulberry silk.

Images may show more than one skein to give a sense of color variation and patterning. Ordering a quantity of 1 means you will receive 1 skein/ball.

Balls come with the colors wound both ways - that is some are A>B>C and some are C>B>A. We've checked (we're nerds) and it's the same yardage of each color regardless of which color is in the middle vs on the outside of the ball. Photos may show multiple balls to illustrate this and give a better sense of the color spectrum, but ordering a quantity of 1 = 1 ball. If you have a preference about which color is on the inside/outside of the ball let us know in the notes section at checkout. We'll do our best to accommodate if possible, though we don't always have both options in stock. :)

Colorway Dirty Hippy: Lotus Flower Beanie by BKnitsHandmade. Pulled from opposite ends of the same ball for the main color and contrast color. Four interchangeable ~3.5" pompoms - one from the start of the contrast color, three from the leftover middle of the ball.

This yarn is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Each one is an unique work of art full of subtle variation and beauty, so your skein will differ from the one pictured. To achieve the most even possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.

Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. We will do our best to select skeins from the same dye lot or, if there is no dye lot, skeins that visually match. If you add multiple skeins of the same yarn to your cart you'll be prompted at checkout to select how to proceed if we have concerns about skeins matching.
