This classic pattern is a great way to learn short rows or knitting backward. Knit two out of one ball of Sugar ‘n Cream or - my favorite - one of these and one of Grandma Marian’s Dishcloth.

As well as dishcloths and washcloths, these make excellent coasters, trivets, and padding between dishes or pots.

We have a tutorial for how to work the short rows in this pattern.

  1. PDF Download - By ordering this product you will receive a PDF of this pattern. A download link will appear on the order confirmation page after checkout and will also be sent to the email address attached to your order. The email is sent automatically immediately after checkout. If you don't see it be sure to check your spam folder. You will have 7 days to access the file and it can be downloaded a maximum of 3 times.
  2. Alternative: Ravelry - Instead of ordering from Twisted, you can instead download this pattern directly from Ravelry. Ravelry is a separate website with separate checkout. The benefit is that the pattern can be stored in your Ravelry library.
