Clover felting needles are designed for use with Clover's Needle Felting Tools (sold separately).

Choose between Fine and Heavy gauge. The Fine gauge needles (40 gauge) are good for detail or finishing work. This is the size that Clover Needle Felting Tools come with, and the one we recommend trying first. The Heavy gauge needles (36 gauge) are thicker and can be good for felting bigger areas or denser fabrics. Gauge number refers to the diameter of the needle - the higher the number, the finer the needle.

Each package contains 5 barbed needles of the indicated gauge in a plastic box for safe storage.

In addition to embellishing, needle felting is also a wonderful tool for mending handknits. Individual strands of wool yarn can be felted back together if they are broken, and patches can be felted over holes in sock heels or sweater elbows.
