Class - Intro to Stranded Colorwork - Kerfuffle Cowl: Saturday October 6 from 10:30-1:00pm; with Michele Description
Learn the basics of stranded knitting with two colors in the round with this cuddly cowl. This class will start you on your newest knitting obsession with tips you need for success including managing floats, keeping even tension, and picking colors that make your work pop!

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skills Required: Long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, reading a pattern, binding off.
Skills Learned: Techniques and tips for color stranded knitting.
Materials: Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off your purchase of the following:
- Yarn: two 100 gram skeins of worsted weight yarn, approximately 210 yards each. Try one semi-solid and one variegated, or two semi-solids. We recommend: Malabrigo Worsted.
- Needles: one 24” circular needle in size US #8/5mm or #9/5.5mm, and one 24” circular needle 2 sizes smaller for ribbing.
- Notions: locking or ring style stitch markers
- Pattern: Before class, please purchase a copy of the Kerfuffle Cowl pattern by Michele Bernstein. It is available electronically and print-on-demand at Twisted.
