Learn to create completely reversible, extra snuggly knits! Double knitting increases warmth and creates a perfect 2-sided fabric for a fair isle look inside or out.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skills Required: Long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, common increases and decreases, knitting in the round, reading a pattern, binding off.
Skills Learned: Double knitting techniques, strategies for choosing colors for colorwork.
Materials: Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off your purchase of the following:
- Yarn: 250 yards EACH of 2 colors of light fingering weight yarn. We recommend Malabrigo Sock, Knitted Wit Victory Sock, and Brooklyn Tweed Peerie.
- Needles: one 16" circular and one set of double points - both in size US #2 / 2.25 mm OR whatever gets YOU a gauge of 6.5 sts = 1" on your chosen yarn.
- Notions: 8 stitch markers, 1 tapestry needle.
