This is the fingering-weight version of Blue Moon's signature sock yarn - yep it's as amazing as you've heard. It is a 3-ply, tightly plied, high grade superwash merino and simply can't be beat for socks. The 3-plies make it a well-rounded yarn, which is great for stitch definition, and it has tremendous bounce. BMFA calls it lightweight instead of fingering-weight because of the elasticity, which makes it springier and loftier than your average fingering weight yarn.
This yarn is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Your skein will differ from the one pictured. Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. To achieve the most even possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.
