This is a very special blanket. I first designed it several years ago to welcome my niece into the world. My sister-in-law is of Irish heritage, so I wanted to come up with a pattern that somehow evoked a Celtic Knot.

The original blanket came out beautifully, but the pattern needed further refining. When my dear friend Vivian said she was expecting a baby girl, I knew it was time for this design to be perfected. The following is the result. Knit it for very special little ones.
