Yarn
Approximately 385 yards/352 meters fingering weight yarn. Shown in Socks That Rock Lightweight by Blue Moon Fiber Arts (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 405 yards/370 meters per 5.15 ounce/146 gram skein), in colorway Dress Like Your Pet (variegated) and Yaksi Fingering by Blue Moon Fiber Arts (60% Wool, 20% Yak, 20% Silk; 390 yards/356 meters per 3.38 ounce/96gram skein), in colorway Desert Green.
H/8-5.00mm – for edging, J/10-6.00mm, and K/11-6.50mm – optional. If you find you are having trouble getting your hook into the slipped stitches, crochet row 1 with a larger hook.
19 Ldc = 4”/10 cm in pattern. Gauge is not critical for this project, though it will affect finished size and yarn usage. To obtain a stretchy fabric, be sure to work with a large hook.
