Construction

This triangular shawl is knit flat starting at the nape of the neck. It increases at six points to form long wings.

Gauge

20 stitches = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this pattern but it will affect finished measurements and yarn usage. The finished object is very stretchy and malleable when blocking.

Version 9/6/2016 - Page 5: Errata. Garter Section #4 should be 12 rows (not 22). In other words:
Rows 113-122 - switch to color A and work as for Garter #1 Rows 15-24. 10 rows and 5 garter ridges worked.
Row 123 - work as for Row 15
Row 124 - switch to color B and work as for Row 16.
Row numbers after that change appropriately.
