Twisted Classes Class - Choose Your Own Adventure: Shawl Shaping: Saturday, February 23 1:30-4:30pm; with Michele
Please read our class policies and cancellation information before registering.
Shawls and shawlettes are a great way to show off one or two skeins of very special yarn, and there are so many styles to choose from! If you’ve ever wondered how these different shapes are constructed, this is the perfect class for you. Students will knit through mini versions of Michele’s favorite shapes: top down triangle, asymmetric triangle, top down elongated crescent, and sideways crescent.
Long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, common increases and decreases, pattern reading, binding off.
Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off your purchase of the following:
- Yarn: 100-150yds sport or DK weight yarn (preferably wool, and light-colored to make it easier to see your stitches)
- Needles: one 24” circular needle or set of straight needles in size appropriate for yarn; recommended US size #4-6
- Notions: stitch markers
- Pattern: n/a
