More Steps in Brioche: Syncopation: Saturday, February 22 from 1:30-4:30pm - from Twisted Classes
Brioche knitting is the current “it knit” and there are so many ways to play with it, once you understand the basic Brioche Rib stitch. We’ll review basic brioche rib, then practice syncopating (swapping dominant color with background color), and finally learn an increase and 2 decreases. Voilà, it’s a gauge swatch, and now we can cast on for the real deal!
All classes are intended for adults (roughly high school and up) unless otherwise noted. Please read our class policies and cancellation information before registering and contact us if you have any questions!
Long tail cast on, knit and purl stitches, common increases and decreases, knitting in the round, binding off, brioche rib. Students must be comfortable working with 2 colors, and have completed at least one brioche project or taken a brioche class. This class is not an intro to brioche.
How to knit two color brioche flat, how brioche syncopation works, reading your brioche knitting, and fixing more mistakes.
