Fetching Fingerless Mitts: Wednesday, January 29, February 5, & 12, from 6:00-8:00pm - from Twisted Classes
Knit up these cozy fingerless mitts for fall, and learn the basics of cables! We'll learn how to cable without a cable needle, insert an afterthought thumb, and how to do a simple picot bind-off.
All classes are intended for adults (roughly high school and up) unless otherwise noted. Please read our class policies and cancellation information before registering and contact us if you have any questions!
Basic long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, binding off.
Knitting a small circumference using magic loop method, basic cabling, how to cable without a cable needle, insert an afterthought thumb, and picot bind-off.
Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off your purchase of the following. In-store purchases of class materials will receive a discount at the time of purchase; online purchases will receive store credit for the amount of the discount.
- Yarn: 200 yards of DK weight yarn. We recommend Malabrigo Arroyo, Hazel Knits Lively DK, or Knitted Wit Victory DK.
- Needles: size US #6 40” long circular needles for magic loop.
- Pattern: Students will be given a free printed copy of Fetching Mitts pattern by Cheryl Niamath.
