For our 40th issue we’ve conjured up a knitted dreamworld! Allow our latest collection to transport you to your yarn-filled happy place with joy-bringing patterns which are whimsical without compromising elegance or wearability. The designs reference the seemingly unstructured nature of dreams through floaty fabrics and ethereal embellishments, loose gauge, and by gently emboldening the maker to use their intuition when it comes to playing with colour. As with anything that appears effortless, copious amounts of imagination and clever thinking form the foundation of these designs and they encourage the kind of creative escapism we cherish in crafting. The patterns in this collection vary in intensity; from ones which will allow you to realise your knitting fantasies to others you could finish with your eyes closed. But rest assured, each one will grant you gratification in a different way.

Featuring designs by: AIMEE SHER // ALLISON LUTES // EDDA LILJA GUÐMUNDSDÓTTIR // HANNA LÜBBEN // JULIE DUBREUX // MARIE RÉGNIER // MARZENA KOŁACZEK // POPE VERGARA // REED KEYES

In addition to the 10 knitting patterns, our spring 2022 collection contains an article, ‘Making a World’ by Lilith Green, in which lilith talks about her experience of autism and how the act of making provides a haven from a world which prioritizes neurotypical people. If your goal is to try your hand at a craft other than knitting, learn how to make decorative Polish pająki with Karolina Merska, or use Stephanie Ganz’ recipe to bake Honeysuckle Cream Puffs – divine!

All the books and magazines we sell are new. Upon receipt, we inspect them for misprints and damage, then sort them into the following categories in an effort to give you as much information as possible and make sure you're satisfied with your purchase! Regardless of the condition, we'll do our best to package your media item securely so it arrives to you in good shape. Shipping can be a tough journey, though, so we cannot guarantee a book will arrive crisp as the day it was printed.

If you have specific requirements for your book's condition leave us a note at checkout. For example, if ANY minor, normal blemishes are unacceptable, tell us that and what to do next. We can email you photos or refund you if no copies we have in stock meet your needs.

  • Normal - If no condition is listed, it's this one! As far as we can see, these are in normal, good condition for a new book. Please note that most of these books have been shipped all over the world, so they could have very minor, purely cosmetic blemishes. They're comparable to a new book or magazine you'd find in a bookstore. Examples: slightly scuffed corner, very small bent corner, or a small nick in the cover.
  • Cosmetic Damage - These have noticeable cosmetic issues but are still completely functional. We will list the damage and upload photos to show the issue if necessary. Examples of minor damage: a smudge on the cover or crushed corner. Examples of moderate damage: cracked spine or torn cover.
