Winding

Hanks must be wound prior to knitting with them, but mini-skeins do much better hand-wound. The core of a ball winder is too big compared to the size of the ball so they tend to collapse and tangle. So, if you add yarn winding to your order for this item it will NOT, by default, include winding the mini-skein. If you'd like to risk it and have us wind the mini, too, please leave us a note at checkout. But... it will make us fret and worry and chew our fingernails.
