This is the sport-weight version of Blue Moon Fiber Art's signature sock yarn. A tightly plied, high grade superwash merino gives it great stitch definition and tremendous bounce.

STR Mediumweight is great for so many projects: socks, sweaters, kids garments, hats, cowls, legwarmers - pretty much anything you want to have lots of bounce and great stitch definition but don't need to be fluffy light.

STR is also available in two other weights. The fingering/sock weight is Socks That Rock Lightweight, and the DK weight is Socks That Rock Heavyweight. You might also want to check out its cousin, aran-weight Plushy.

Like all Blue Moon Fiber Arts yarns, it is expertly hand-dyed in small batches right here in Oregon.

This yarn is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Each one is an unique work of art full of subtle variation and beauty, so your skein will differ from the one pictured. To achieve the most even possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.

Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. We will do our best to select skeins from the same dye lot or, if there is no dye lot, skeins that visually match.
