This is the delightful DK-weight version of Blue Moon's signature sock yarn. But this 4-ply, tightly plied, high grade superwash merino is a dream for far more than only socks! The 4-plies make it a well-rounded yarn, which is great for stitch definition, and it has tremendous bounce and elasticity, making it great for heavier socks, as well as garments, accessories, and baby items.

STR is also available in two other weights. The fingering/sock weight is Socks That Rock Lightweight, and the sport weight is Socks That Rock Mediumweight. You might also want to check out its cousins, aran-weight Plushy.

Like all Blue Moon Fiber Arts yarns, it is expertly hand-dyed in small batches right here in Oregon.

This yarn is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Each one is an unique work of art full of subtle variation and beauty, so your skein will differ from the one pictured. To achieve the most even possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.

Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. We will do our best to select skeins from the same dye lot or, if there is no dye lot, skeins that visually match.
