Blue Moon Fiber Arts Crackpaca

Be warned: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Crackpaca is so soft and wonderful, you just might get addicted to it! Luckily as far as we know, it causes no harmful side effects and is 100% legal.

Crackpaca is equal parts baby alpaca and a superfine merino, with just enough cultivated silk to give it added strength and sheen. The superfine aspect of the merino enhances the baby alpaca by adding in elasticity and buoyancy without taking away that ultra softness that we love alpaca for. It’s uber, super soft and squishy, making it perfect for cowls, shawls, sweaters and anything else you want to curl up with.

Fiber: 45% Baby Alpaca / 45% Superfine Merino / 10% Cultivated Silk
Weight: DK
Gauge: 16 – 24 sts = 4” / 10 cm
Needles: US 4 / 3.5mm to US 5 / 3.75mm
Put up: 106 gram hank
Length: 265 yards / 242 meters
Care: Hand wash. Lay flat to dry.

Please note that like all Blue Moon Fiber Arts yarn, this is dyed by hand and will vary from skein to skein and batch to batch. Your skein will differ from the one pictured. Please buy enough for your entire project all at once. To achieve the most even-possible color distribution, consider alternating skeins while working your project.
