A simple lace shawl is the ideal “little something” for summer evenings when there’s a light breeze or just that hint of coolness in the air. This basic lace pattern can be knit as a scarf, stole, or shawl. It’s perfect in linen, cotton, or bamboo for crisp stitch definition and a light summery feel.

Construction

This shawl is knit flat. To adjust width, cast on a multiple of 10 stitches + 9 stitches. To adjust length, knit to desired length where indicated.

Gauge

22 sts = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch

Yarn

• Stole / Large Size - 7 skeins of Dandoh Linen in color indicated
• Shawl / Medium Size - 5 skeins Dandoh Linen in color indicated
• Scarf / Small Size - 3 skeins of Dandoh Linen in color indicated
• Yarn comes unwound in the original hank and must be hand-wound due to the nature of the fiber
