Have you been itching to cast-on your first sweater but just can't seem to find the right pattern? Look no further! This worsted-weight, knit-in-the-round, top-down, customizable pullover from Brooklyn Tweed is the PERFECT sweater to dip your toes into garment knitting.

Designed by Jared Flood, this sweater was MADE for Brooklyn Tweed's gorgeous Tones yarn, whether you choose a solid color or striped. Don't see your favorite color here? Choose your own color combo of Brooklyn Tweed Tones.

Construction

• This pullover is worked from the top down.
• Knitting begins with the ribbed neckband, followed by a set of short rows worked flat across the back neck to improve neckline fit.
• The raglan shoulder shaping begins during the short rows and continues throughout the yoke (the upper body).
• After completion of the yoke, stitches are separated for body and sleeves; each section is worked circularly.

Pattern Options & Yardage

Keep in mind that the yardage included in this kit is the estimated maximum amount needed per size to make the core pattern garment variation. This features a straight torso, slightly cropped length, and 3/4 length bloused sleeves. 

The pattern includes options to customize several aspects of the finished garment, so the exact yardage you require may diverge from the core pattern garment according to your chosen shape, body and sleeve length, and/or color variations. For example, if you plan to substantially extend the length of the body or sleeves you may wish to purchase additional yarn.
