This baby blanket was designed with future grandchildren in mind. The leaf lace pattern is interesting and rhythmic, making it a relaxing and meditative project. As I knit love into each stitch, I think about being a grandma one day. Create one for a special little someone in your life!

This kit contains materials to make one baby blanket that is approximately 34" (86cm) wide x 34" (86cm) long after blocking.

Yarn

• 4 hanks Knitted Wit DK
• yarn comes unwound in the original hank unless you add winding above
• Because this is a hand-dyed yarn and can have color variation even within the same dye lot, you may wish to use the feathering (or fading) method when changing skeins. When you have about 1/3 of a skein left, introduce the next skein by working two rows (rs then ws). Continue alternating between the two skeins by working two rows of each until the first skein is gone. Because you will be slipping the first stitch of each row, change the yarn on the 5th stitch, after the garter stitch border, rather than at the very edge of the work.
