Plied Knowledge: The week that was…
At the shop:
- NEW PRODUCTS!!! If you caught our newsletter on Tuesday, you are already in the know on the wonderful Black Purl Magic project bags, stitch markers and progress keepers we now carry. So good!
- Malabrigo in the house! We always love getting a new batch of Malabrigo- the colors are just always amazing. This time around the bulk of our order was for the new colors (!!!) of Rasta for those looking to dive into winter crafting, and Susurro if you are holding out for lighter knit projects...
- We have carried mesh laundry bags in the past, but we felt we needed some with style. Take a look at the cute new patterns!

Around the web:
- It's never too late to learn something new...
- Let's just own it, Zoom school is hard.
- Paul Rudd, National Treasure.
- Having a hard time processing what RBG's death can mean? Here is where to donate to help...

- And if it is fall, that means it's time to decorate with pumpkins!
And totally, completely, unapologetically local:
- The Time Based Art Festival is on now through the end of the month!
- Many of us are familiar with the robust Oregon wine scene but not everyone is aware of the diversity of the winemakers. Check out the Celebrating Hispanic Roots/Raices Unidas event that runs through October 15th.
- Local favorite Next Adventure is holding their fall sale online this year...
- Tis the season for corn mazes! This year Bella Organic not only dedicated their maze to frontline workers but all front line workers get in free the month of September...
- And sadly, tis the end of the season for the Portland Saturday Market this weekend...
Have a great weekend and remember, you can always find us online!
