Around the web:
- Sadly the Twistedista's are still dealing with cold and flu season. To help us all, here are a few recipes to get everyone through what is hopefully the end with Spring finally here...
- If you are healthy and feeling the DIY bug instead, here's a fun tutorial for a circus animal pillow...
- For the trivia buffs, did you know that the Playtex company played a part in creating the original space suits? It's a fascinating story of rubber, puncture resistant latex technology and still allowing movement...
- And finally for the music lovers, South By Southwest just wrapped and if you were not lucky enough to attend, fear not! NPR has your back. Not only do they have the Austin 100, but they have an Austin 100 Alumni Edition, a Tiny Desk Family Hour set that were all recorded in Austin during the festival and finally a Pop Culture Happy Hour episode devoted to music discoveries from the festival.
And totally, completely, unapologetically local:
- Like Queen Bee, Betsy & Iya is a locally owned, small business that continues to grow and expand beyond their original start of just jewelery. If you are lucky enough to be local or passing through, be sure not to miss their brick and mortar store but online shopping is never a bad backup plan!
Have a great weekend and remember, you can always find us online!
