Update

Thanks to your support, the Twistedistas are all doing ok! We're healthy and doing our best to stay that way. We've spread out workstations to help us strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines; we're limiting the number of employees who work at the same time; and we're disinfecting like the dickens.

We are meeting our shipping timelines with only occasional exceptions. (Darn you, back-ordered priority mail poster tubes.) That means orders placed before noon (for the most part) ship the next business day!

To keep us on track, we are working hard to convert our physical space from a cozy retail shop to a warehouse and office optimized for picking and shipping online orders. Three Twistedistas have requested and received rollerskates to help them zoom around collecting your yarn. We are also inventorying everything to suss out victims of "shrinkage" when we were a brick and mortar shop. This should help make sure that the quantities you see online are close to 100% correct.

Some of our suppliers can no longer sell to us because we are not going to re-open the brick and mortar shop. We will dearly miss these lines, which include favorites like Brooklyn Tweed, Quince & Co, and Onyx Fiber Arts, but fully support their commitment to encouraging brick and mortar LYS. On a positive note, we have found alternative suppliers for some types of needles and notions, like Knitter's Pride and Eucalan, and will resupply soon!

We've ended our free shipping in Portland promo, but we are continuing to offer free shipping on most US orders over $25 for the time being. If you're looking for a way to help support our small business (we've had so many calls and emails about this - THANK YOU!), you can consider selecting a paid shipping option instead of free shipping. Shipping is expensive, but we do want to keep the lower threshold so we can help and support as many people as possible during this difficult time.
