Steeking

INTRO TO STEEKING

Saturday, January 26 with Michele

Are steeks on your bucket list? Come cut your first steek; it’s not as scary as it sounds! We’ll reinforce our knitting with slip stitch crochet (no previous crochet experience necessary) and then cut and finish the raw edges. You’ll knit your mug rug/coaster in the round as homework, and come ready for the action.

HerringboneBraids

HERRINGBONE BRAIDS

Saturday, January 26 with Michele

It’s all about the braid! These wristlets will take you through the ins and outs of stranded knitting, including managing yarn while knitting with 2 colors, and yarn dominance. You’ll learn six distinct braids: Latvian herringbone braids and 2 kinds of half-braids, all both left and right facing.

CrochetHat

NEXT STEPS IN CROCHET - CROCHET HAT

Thursdays, Jan 31 & Feb 7 with Anny

Make your first crochet hat with this simple pattern! We will work from the crown to the brim and teach you new techniques such as pattern reading, new stitches, and crochet ribbing.

Dog Sweater

DOG SWEATER

Tuesdays, February 5, 12, & 19 with Cheri

Have the best dressed little doggie in town! This pattern calls for heavy worsted yarn; which knits up quickly when you’re creating something special for your little friend. Make yourself a matching hat or scarf and step out in style. A perfect project for the advanced beginner.
