Tricks, Tips & Treats for Knitters

The always delightful Michele Bernstein joins us for exciting classes on advanced techniques this November. Sign up, and even your knitterly friends will be impressed by your new skills!

Herringbone Braids & Beyond: Braids, Stranded Colorwork, and Yarn Dominance – Saturday, November 5 from 10:30am-2:30pm. This class will take you through the ins and outs of stranded knitting, including managing yarn while knitting with 2 colors, and yarn dominance. While knitting a pair of charming wristlets, you’ll learn six distinct braids: Latvian herringbone braids and 2 kinds of half-braids, all both left and right facing.

Intro to Steeking – Bucket List Coffee Cuff & Coaster – Monday, November 7 & 14 from 6:00-8:00pm. Steeking is like jumping the Snake River Canyon for knitters. Learn how to do this death defying feat fearlessly as Michele guides you step by step, from planning to cutting. You’ll end up with a sweet cozy and coaster set to keep your tea hot and your table safe. A perfect way to start on holiday gifts!
